Public Milestone Meeting 1I:

Open House July 25 and 27, 2024

Public Milestone Meeting II will be offered on two dates, an open house-style meeting unveiling what was learned from the community during Milestone Meeting I.

The first Public Milestone Meeting, held on January 23, 2024, introduced and welcomed the community to the current Lincoln Beach Redevelopment Master Planning process. This aspirational meeting helped craft the project goals and guiding principles that will assist in shaping Lincoln Beach's master plan and design for safely reopening an accessible, family-friendly, environmentally friendly, and economically sustainable urban beach, creating a destination attraction in the City of New Orleans.

The open house will present an analysis and initial design concepts for Lincoln Beach, considering input from community engagement conducted during Phase 1. The findings from this open house will help refine programming, planning, and design concepts, as well as the redevelopment strategy.
